Sarah Williams - aka "Miss Lucy"

Within two weeks of being born, Sarah’s great-grandfather called her Lucy Locket, and the name stuck. When trying to decide on a name for the farm, it just seemed fitting to call it Lucy Belle. Born and raised in the South, Sarah considers herself to be a modern-day belle. And, like most belles, she likes to throw a great party.

A graduate of Savannah Country Day School and Emory University, she had always lived in a city or suburb before moving to the countryside. However, she will be quick to tell you that Savannah and Statesboro are within 30 minutes of her driveway. Her past work experience includes marketing, public relations, event planning and logistics. She enjoys speaking to groups about a wide-range of topics, and she is currently writing a book for engaged couples.

When not directing a wedding or event, she can usually be found with one or both of her dogs. And, it’s no secret that she loves children. She and her husband have a blended family and, together, they have raised four sons.  She is passionate about reading, good manners, equal rights for all people, and her family and friends.
